KERI ADAMS
Award-winning News Anchor. Morning Show Host. Mom.
Keri Adams is an award-winning journalist/anchor at CTV News Vancouver, and host of CTV Morning Live.
She wakes up early every morning, has a chat on TV about what's happening in our world, and shares a lot of laughs with co-workers. Not a bad gig, but it took 22 years to get to this point.
Keri’s career began in 1994 as morning show writer in her hometown of Edmonton, before taking on the challenging role of photojournalist in Red Deer, AB. Two years later, she went back to Edmonton as a reporter and weekend anchor, covering breaking news, and elections for all levels of government.
In 2001, Keri headed west to Vancouver where she worked as a reporter and Weekend Morning News Anchor with Global Television (CHAN-TV) before being snapped up by CTV British Columbia.
In 2005, Keri received the Jack Webster Award for ‘Best News Reporting’ for her work on the fatal North Vancouver Mudslide, and was nominated in 2004 for ‘Best Feature Reporting’.
She's also expecting her two daughters to nominate her for Mother of the Year sometime in the next 10 years.
